FAQs

What makes Maison Hunny different?

We keep things wholesome and no-frills. Our creations are made with simple, natural ingredients. Nothing unnecessary, nothing overly complicated. Just honest treats, made with care.

Where do you source your ingredients?

We prioritise local Australian and high-quality suppliers wherever possible, making sure everything is safe, transparent, and wholesome.

Can both cats and dogs enjoy them?

Yes! Our recipes are carefully developed to be suitable for both cats and dogs. That means you don’t have to worry if your furry family members share a treat or sneak one from each other’s bowl.

Can cats have vegan treats?

We do not recommend vegan treats for cats as they are obligate carnivores.

Are the treats just about being cute and aesthetic?

They’re pretty adorable (and we love that!) but the cuteness never comes at the expense of quality. Every treat is crafted from a thoughtfully balanced recipe, designed to nourish as much as it delights. Our approach is grounded in training and certification with the Korean Pet Food Association, along with countless hours of research and conversations with our trusted vet friends.

Do you use artificial colours or preservatives?

Nope. We stick to natural ingredients and simple processes. If there’s colour in a treat, it’s from nature, like beetroot or pumpkin… never from artificial additives.

Are these treats everyday snacks or special-occasion only?

They’re designed to be both! Gentle on tummies and balanced in their nutritional profile, our treats are safe for regular enjoyment. But they’re also cute enough to bring out for birthdays, gotcha days, or just because.

How many treats can I give per day?

Treats should always be a little “extra,” not a meal replacement. A good rule of thumb is that treats make up no more than 10% of your pet’s daily diet. For small pets, that might mean 1-2 little bites a day. For bigger pets, a few more. Always keep an eye on their weight, energy, and overall health as every furry friend is different.

Do your treats contain common allergens?

We keep our recipes simple and avoid unnecessary fillers, but some treats may still contain ingredients like oats, peanut butter, or egg. Always check the ingredient list on our website if your pet has known allergies, and when in doubt, reach out. We’re happy to help you pick the safest option.

What happens if my order gets lost in the mail? Or if it arrives damaged?

We know it’s frustrating when the postie drops the ball. If your order doesn’t arrive within 1 week of being sent out, let us know. We’ll help track it down or arrange a replacement so your furry friend doesn’t miss out.

Once parcels leave our hands, we can’t control what happens during shipping, but if your products arrive damaged, please reach out with a photo. We’ll do our best to make it right.
